Technology Assessment

Know What Your Technology Needs Before You Invest in More of It

Before you invest in more technology, Roxiera Group evaluates how your current digital technology is configured, connected, used, measured, and supporting your business, then gives you a prioritized plan showing what to keep, improve, connect, consolidate, or evaluate next.

This is a structured assessment, not a generic consultation. It combines objective technical checks where appropriate, client-provided information, authorized platform information where applicable, technology inventory, workflow and customer-journey analysis, integration analysis, and consultant review. Not every assessment includes every possible technical test. The exact depth depends on agreed scope, systems involved, technical feasibility, permissions, and available access.

When technology becomes hard to manage

Having Technology Is Not the Same as Having a Connected Digital Business

As businesses grow, technology is often added one problem at a time. A website comes first, then booking software, payment tools, CRM, marketing platforms, communication systems, automation, and other applications. Eventually, the business may have many tools without a clear understanding of how well they work together.

  • We use several software platforms but aren't sure whether we need all of them.
  • Our systems do not work well together.
  • Employees enter the same information in multiple places.
  • We have tools with features we barely use.
  • Important information is spread across different systems.
  • We are considering replacing software but don't know whether replacement is necessary.
  • We need new capabilities but don't know what type of technology to choose.
  • Our current technology worked when the business was smaller but may not support where we're going.
  • We want to understand our technology before spending more money.
  • We need a clearer picture of what should stay, improve, connect, consolidate, or be investigated further.

A Technology Assessment helps create that clearer picture before the business commits to unnecessary or poorly aligned technology changes.

Roxiera Technology Assessment

A Connected View of the Technology Behind Your Business

Having technology is not the same as having a connected digital business. Roxiera Group looks across the technology supporting your customer experience and operations to identify what is working, what needs attention, where systems are disconnected, and what may deserve investment next.

01

Digital Foundation

Review relevant areas such as:

  • Website technology
  • HTTPS and basic technical configuration
  • Mobile experience
  • Website performance
  • Forms and customer entry points
  • Broken links or technical errors where identified
  • Sitemap and robots configuration
  • Relevant website technologies

02

Search & Measurement

Review relevant areas such as:

  • Technical SEO foundations
  • Crawlability and indexability
  • Page titles and metadata
  • Heading structure
  • Canonical configuration
  • Structured data and schema where applicable
  • Sitemap configuration
  • Google Search Console when authorized
  • Google Analytics / GA4 presence and relevant configuration
  • Google Tag Manager where applicable
  • Relevant conversion measurement
  • Google Business Profile connections and foundations where applicable

03

Customer Technology

Review relevant customer-facing technology and whether it supports the customer journey effectively:

  • CRM
  • Lead capture
  • Lead management
  • Sales pipeline
  • Booking and scheduling
  • Payments
  • Customer communication
  • Email and SMS
  • Follow-up systems

04

Systems & Integrations

Review how the technology environment fits together:

  • What systems are being used
  • What connects to what
  • Where important systems are disconnected
  • Duplicate data entry
  • Manual information transfer
  • Integration gaps
  • Relevant system dependencies

05

Process & Efficiency

Review where technology creates avoidable work:

  • Repetitive manual processes
  • Technology-related workflow friction
  • Workarounds
  • Unnecessary switching between systems
  • Underused technology
  • Features the business may already have but is not effectively using

06

Data & Information Flow

Review at an appropriate business-process level:

  • Where important information originates
  • Where it moves
  • Where it is stored
  • Where duplicate records or information may occur
  • Manual data movement
  • Relevant system-of-record questions
  • Information-flow gaps

07

Automation & AI Readiness

Identify where automation or AI may genuinely be appropriate:

  • Repetitive processes that may warrant automation review
  • Existing automations
  • Processes that should be improved before automation
  • Potential AI use cases
  • Whether AI has a legitimate business purpose
  • Data, process, and system dependencies that may affect readiness

08

Technology Governance & Resilience

At a high operational level, identify relevant concerns such as:

  • Unclear technology ownership
  • Important systems controlled by external providers
  • Single-person dependencies
  • Undocumented critical integrations
  • Outdated or potentially unsupported technology
  • Vendor and platform dependencies
  • Lack of an apparent alternative process for a critical technology dependency

09

Growth Readiness

Consider whether relevant current technology appears capable of supporting anticipated changes such as:

  • More customers
  • More leads
  • More employees or users
  • More locations
  • More appointments
  • More transactions
  • More complex operations
  • Future digital initiatives

Technical and search foundations are not the same as organic search performance. Roxiera Group cannot determine that search marketing is working from a technical scan alone, and performance analysis depends on available data and agreed scope. Data and information flow are reviewed at a business-process level and are not a formal data-governance or privacy audit. Governance and resilience observations are made at a high operational level and are not a cybersecurity, compliance, legal, or formal business-continuity assessment. Scalability and future system performance are not guaranteed.

Evidence before recommendations

We Don't Guess What Your Business Needs

Roxiera Group combines multiple sources of information to build a more complete view of the technology environment.

Automated & technical checks

Where appropriate and technically feasible, Roxiera Group may use established tools to examine relevant public or authorized technical signals such as website health, performance, technical SEO foundations, tags, structured data, and other agreed digital configuration.

Authorized system review

Where deeper verification is appropriate, Roxiera Group may review relevant platform information, configuration, reports, integrations, or account data with client authorization and appropriate access.

Business & workflow discovery

We learn how important business processes actually work, from customer enquiry through lead management, booking, payment, service, and follow-up where relevant.

Consultant analysis

Technology does not make business decisions by itself. Roxiera Group reviews the evidence in the context of the client's goals, processes, constraints, and requirements before making recommendations.

Access requirements vary by assessment. Roxiera Group should use the minimum level of access reasonably necessary for the agreed review and should not request unnecessary credentials.

Follow the customer through the technology

See Where the Digital Experience Connects and Where It Breaks

Roxiera Group may examine the relevant technology supporting each stage of the customer journey to identify unnecessary friction, disconnected systems, manual handoffs, and missing capabilities.

Customer journey stages

Use what you have before buying more

Are You Getting Enough From the Technology You're Already Paying For?

Within the agreed scope, Roxiera Group may identify:

  • Underused capabilities
  • Duplicate functionality
  • Overlapping software
  • Unnecessary manual work despite available features
  • Potential consolidation opportunities
  • Technology being bypassed by spreadsheets or manual processes
  • Features that may warrant better configuration or training

Findings are described in language such as "potential technology overlap identified" or "consolidation opportunity warrants further evaluation." Roxiera Group does not promise cost savings. Final decisions may depend on functionality, contracts, licensing, migration requirements, business requirements, vendor capabilities, and other considerations.

Clear recommendations

Keep. Improve. Connect. Consolidate. Or Evaluate What's Next.

Keep

The technology appears appropriate for the current requirement based on the agreed assessment.

Improve

Keep the technology, but improve configuration, utilization, process, training, or related setup.

Connect

Consider integrating the technology with another system where technically feasible and valuable.

Consolidate

Evaluate whether overlapping systems or capabilities can be simplified.

Evaluate Replacement

The existing technology may no longer appropriately support the requirement, so alternatives may warrant deeper evaluation.

Replacement is never recommended automatically. Final technology decisions may depend on cost, contracts, licensing, integrations, migration requirements, vendor capabilities, technical feasibility, operational disruption, and other factors outside the initial assessment.

Know what to address first

Not Every Technology Issue Has the Same Priority

Now

Issues or opportunities that warrant near-term attention based on the assessment.

Next

Important improvements that may follow immediate priorities or dependencies.

Later

Potential future improvements that do not currently require immediate action.

Investigate

Areas where additional information, specialist review, technical analysis, or requirements discovery is needed before making a final recommendation.

Prioritization considers the business need, potential impact, urgency, effort, dependencies, feasibility, and information available.

Who it's for

For Businesses That Need a Clearer View of Their Technology

Technology Assessment may be appropriate for businesses that:

  • Have accumulated multiple software tools over time
  • Are unsure whether current technology still meets business needs
  • Have disconnected systems
  • Rely heavily on manual data entry between tools
  • Are considering new technology investments
  • Are considering replacing an existing platform
  • Are preparing for growth
  • Need better integration between systems
  • Want to identify potentially underused technology
  • Are exploring automation or AI
  • Need to understand technology gaps before implementing new solutions
  • Want more informed technology decisions

Better decisions before more software

Technology Should Earn Its Place in the Business

The goal of a Technology Assessment is not to produce a shopping list. It is to understand what the business needs, how current technology supports those needs, and where change may actually be justified.

  • Understand the business requirement first.
  • Evaluate existing capabilities before adding new tools.
  • Avoid replacing technology simply because something newer exists.
  • Consider integration before unnecessary duplication.
  • Consider process problems before assuming technology is the problem.
  • Evaluate automation only where it supports a defined need.
  • Evaluate AI based on appropriate use cases rather than trends.
  • Consider dependencies before changing core systems.
  • Recognize when deeper specialist review is required.
  • Prioritize technology decisions based on business needs and practical constraints.

Important scope boundary

What a Technology Assessment Is Not

A Technology Assessment is not automatically:

  • A cybersecurity audit
  • A vulnerability assessment
  • A penetration test
  • A compliance certification
  • A legal review
  • A privacy audit
  • A formal accessibility audit
  • A financial or accounting audit
  • A formal business continuity assessment
  • A software source-code audit
  • A comprehensive enterprise architecture assessment

Where findings indicate a need for specialized analysis, Roxiera Group may recommend an appropriate separate assessment or specialist.

When you're ready to implement

The Assessment Shows What Needs Attention. Implementation Is Your Choice.

After receiving the assessment, you may implement recommendations internally, work with an existing technology provider, seek specialist review where required, or engage Roxiera Group for separately scoped implementation services.

These are separate Roxiera Group services and are not included in the Technology Assessment.
